To set a texture, realize automation of work other than data input, and fold the next frill part when a frill part is sewn by automatically measuring original cloth so as to be suitable for producing an ordered curtain, and sewing the frill part by moving a sewing machine in a fixed condition.

An ascendable-descendable cloth pressing-down member is arranged above a needle plate on a bed of a sewing machine 1, and a pair of safety pins are arranged above it, and a frill forming machine 2 is adjacently installed on a sewing machine main body of the sewing machine 1. A front holding means 12 of the frill forming device 2 clamps and holds both sides of a necessary length of cloth for a frill on the front part side of a curtain texture, and a frill folding means 13 forms a desired frill between the necessary length of cloth for the frill of the curtain, texture held by the front holding means 12, and a frill part supply means 14 inserts a frill part formed by the frill folding means 13 into a sewing part of the sewing machine 1. The sewing machine 1 is placed on an XY stage being a sewing maching moving device, and is made freely movable in the XY direction.
