PURPOSE: To easily perform centralized management of facsimile devices, by reading out communication management data from an original station and other stations, and transmitting and recording the data in response to instructions.
CONSTITUTION: A calling station performs automatic data collection with a called station discriminating signal CED 12 to collect facsimile communication management data of called stations. When the calling station analyzes the content of received NSF(non-standard signal) and confirms the content of an information control field with a signal 13 informing the ability of the called stations, the station transmits NSC.DTC(non-standard signal.informing signal) of a field of the same content to the called stations. The called stations analyze the content of the NSC with a signal 14 which is instruction signal to the signal 13 and starts polling to the called stations having the transmission function from the calling station desired for the reception and confirms the content, the called stations transmit the NSS(non-standard signal) added with the data of the called stations stored in a memory to the calling station. When the calling station analyzes and confirms the NSS with a set signal 15 to the signal 14, the data in the called stations are stored in the memory of the station itself.
