Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a processing system which allows the use of a compact automatic developing machine, eliminates the dissolving work by manual work and stabilizes photographic performance by supplying solid processing agents to processing tanks according to the processing quantity information of silver halide photographic sensitive materials.
SOLUTION: The processing quantity information of the exposed photosensitive materials is detected by a processing quantity information detecting means 8 in the inlet of the automatic developing machine. A processing material supply control means 9 emits a supply signal to a processing agent supplying means 17 when the accumulation of the area of the photosensitive materials processed according to the detected processing quantity information attains a prescribed area. The processing agent supplying means 17, receiving the supply signals, extrudes tablets 13 by an extruding member 10 and supplies the tablets 13 to a filter means 14 in a solid processing agent receiving section 11. The supplied tablets 13 are dissolved by the processing liquid in this solid processing agent receiving section 11 and, further, the dissolution is accelerated by the processing liquid kept circulated by a circulating pump 5. On the other hand, the detected photosensitive materials are successively transported into the development processing tank, bleach-fixing tank and stabilizing tank.
