Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch engaging/disengaging device which can perform quick disengagement of the clutch of a transmission by energizing the load accumulated in a coil spring. SOLUTION: The regular torque of a motor 4 is reduced by speed reduction means 27 and 23 and converted into an axially directed moving force by axial movement converting means 19, 21, 15, 9 so as to move axially a piston rod 6 of a hydraulic master cylinder 3 through a counter lever 37, and thereby the hydraulic fluid is supplied to a friction clutch to compress clutch spring(s) so that disengagement is generated, wherein the piston rod 6 is fitted with a coil spring 31 which accumulates the load being compressed by the repulsive force of the clutch spring when the motor 4 is rotated reversely to engage the clutch and discharges the accumulated load when the motor 4 is rotated in the regular direction, and accumulated load holding means 41 and 41a are furnished which are engaged by the piston rod 6 for holding the load accumulating condition of the coil spring 31 and restrain the movement of the piston rod 6.
