To provide an automatic dispenser with a urine sample cup rotating mechanism capable of surely rotating urine sample cups without contaminating the cup rotating mechanism with urine, various bacteria, or the like stuck to the urine sample cup irrespective of the urine sample cup being deformed or not.

An automatic dispenser includes: a urine sample cup storage rack having an opening 115 smaller than a bottom of a urine sample cup 1 on a bottom plate 11b and having an opened side face; reading means for reading a barcode displayed on the side face of the urine sample cup that is stored in the rack; a dispensing mechanism for dispensing urine from the urine sample cup to a test tube; and conveyance means for conveying the rack to a reading position for the reading means. The automatic dispenser further includes rotating means 18 at the reading position for rotating the urine sample cup stored in the rack, while pushing it up from the bottom via the opening formed on the bottom plate of the rack.
