Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately drive a vehicle when an area around a branching point on a road is congested in automatic drive control of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An automatic drive control device 10 includes: an automatic drive control part 22C for controlling automatic drive of one's own vehicle C0; a congestion information acquisition part 22A for acquiring congestion information of a road on which the one's own vehicle C0 drives; and an advance route information acquisition part 22B for acquiring advance route information of a preceding vehicle from the preceding vehicle driving in front of the one's own vehicle C0. The advance route information includes a position of a branch point as an advance spot to the branch point branched from a road on which the vehicle is driving. The automatic drive control part 22C drives the one's own vehicle C0 following a congested lane driving vehicle when the branch point of the congested lane driving vehicle driving on a congested vehicle coincides with the branch point included in the advance road of the one's own vehicle C0 in the presence of the congested lane in front of the one's own vehicle C0, and drives the one's own vehicle C0 by avoiding the congested lane when the branch points do not coincide with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
