PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic driving device which, while an automatic driving operation according to an actual travelling environment is highly unlikely to be performed, can prevent manual driving from being switched to automatic driving.SOLUTION: During manual driving, when a difference between a manual driving operation amount detected by a manual driving operation amount detection part and an automatic driving operation amount calculated by an automatic driving operation amount calculation part is equal to an operation amount threshold or less, a driving state switching part switches a driving state from manual driving to automatic driving according to a request to switch to the automatic driving by a driver of his/her own vehicle. When a deviation of the automatic driving operation from the manual driving operation by the driver of the own vehicle is increased, and the automatic driving operation according to an actual travelling environment is highly unlikely to be performed, the driving state can be prevented from being switched from the manual driving to the automatic driving. Accordingly, an automatic driving device, while the automatic driving operation according to the actual travelling environment can be highly unlikely to be performed, can prevent the manual driving from being switched to the automatic driving.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
