PURPOSE: To dye many test specimens automatically, by providing a dispenser for dispensing certain quantities of a sample and a dyeing liquid, a stirring mechanism for mixing the sample with the dyeing liquid, and other means.

CONSTITUTION: A sampling arm 10 rotates and stops right above a blood gathering tube 2 and descends. Syringes 5, 6 of a dispenser descend and blood 9 is sucked by the syringe 5 and a dyeing liquid 7 is sucked by the syringe 6 and the both liquids are discharged into a dyeing tank 3. When a sampler 1 proceeds by one pitch and a liquid detector 20 has detected that a mixed liquid 23 is present in the tank 3, the sampler 1 is stopped and electric current is charged to a coil 12 and a magnetic rod 13 is oscillated right and left in the coil 12. In accordance with this oscillation, a revolving and reciprocating motion of a lever 14 is started by centering a pin 15 and the bottom of a tank 3 is vibrated right and left by a plate 16 and both the blood 9 and the liquid 7 are stirred for a certain time. Thereafter, the whole object to be examined is stirred and dyed in the same way. In such a way, many test specimens are dyed automatically.
