CONSTITUTION: The machine base 1 of an automatic engraving machine supports a mount base 2, and the mount base 2 can be moved along the longitudinal direction. A side shoulder section 11 is firmly extended from the machine base 1, it supports a bridge-like beam 12, and the bridge-like beam 12 supports a machining head 13 arranged on the mount base 2. The machining head 13 can be moved in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, it can be rotated around the vertical axis, and it can be rotated around the axis completely entering the axis supporting a cutting tool 23. The cutting tool 23 is rotated by a chuck 26 rotated by a hydraulic motor 24 via a toothed belt.
