Abstract:
To provide a system, method and apparatus for assessing the quality of a sample using small molecule biomarkers indicative of sample quality parameters and methods based on the same.SOLUTION: A method of assessing the quality of a biological sample while maintaining the viability of the biological sample for intended use analysis is provided, the method comprising: analyzing a biological sample obtained from a subject for an intended use; assessing the quality of the biological sample using one or more biomarkers of sample quality; and simultaneously performing intended use analysis on the same sample.SELECTED DRAWING: None
