Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the consumption of a battery necessary for a diaphragm.
SOLUTION: A diaphragm control circuit is provided with a CdS 26 for metering subject luminance, a solenoid 81 for moving a diaphragm plate to a small diaphragm position and a solenoid 82 for moving the diaphragm plate to an ordinary diaphragm position. An input voltage Vin is determined based on a change in the CdS 26. The input voltage Vin and a reference voltage Vref are compared in a comparator 76 and when the input voltage Vin crosses the reference voltage Vref, the solenoids 81 and 82 are selectively activated to move the diaphragm plate. When the input voltage Vin exceeds the reference voltage Vref, a drive pulse is generated from a NOR gate 79 to activate the solenoid 82. When, on the other hand, the input voltage Vin falls below the reference voltage Vref, the drive pulse is generated from an AND gate 78 to activate the solenoid 82. The diaphragm plate moving to the respective positions is held by spring energization.
