The automatic faucet comprises: a faucet body for discharging hot water; a solenoid valve for selecting water discharge or water stop from the faucet body; the plurality of detecting sensors provided for detecting an object; and a controller for selecting the state of the solenoid valve, based on the detecting states of the plurality of detecting sensors, the controller having a sensor driving part for individually driving the plurality of detecting sensors, sensor detecting state determining parts for determining the detecting states of the plurality of detecting sensors, a faucet driving part for controlling the opening/closing of the solenoid valve, based on the determination results of the plurality of sensor detecting state determining parts, a detection priority determining part for determining the priority of the plurality of detecting sensors, and a detecting performance selecting part for individually controlling the detecting performances of the plurality of detecting sensors, based on the determination result of the detection priority determining part.
