Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic faucet capable of separately use different kinds of water without any error.SOLUTION: In an automatic faucet, a non-contact sensor 21 for sensing a hand 16 of a user 15 to discharge hot water or mixed water of hot and cold water is provided on the top face of the tip side of a discharge pipe 13 of a faucet 12 for discharging cold water, hot water or mixed water. Meanwhile, a manual switch 18 for performing water discharge is provided on an installation part 11 of the faucet 12. The manual switch 18 is provided at a position nearer the user 15 than the non-contact sensor 21. The automatic faucet is configured in such a manner that: cold water is normally discharged by operating the manual switch 18, and the non-contact sensor 21 is made to sense to discharge hot water or mixed water only as needed.
