To provide an automatic feeder which has a simple structure and can be disposed at a proper place to feed.

A feeding coil 210 is hung so that the opening of a feeding bag 300 having a feed received therein is upward directed. When it reaches a feeding timing, a timer 254 is rotated with the passage of time to push an opening or closing switch 254 with a projection 255. When the opening or closing switch 256 is switched on, a motor 284 is rotated to rotate the feeding coil 210. By the rotation of the feeding coil 210, the feeding bag 300 is gradually moved to a releasing end, and then released from the feeding coil 210. The feeding bag 300 is fallen by the weight of a feed, and the opening is downward directed to drop and supply the received feed.
