To provide an automatic feeder capable of installing even in a place free from commercial electric source and hardly caring electric source.

This automatic feeder is obtained by connecting electric parts such as a timer, a gear motor 10 and a blower 8 to a battery 11 and connecting the battery 11 to a solar cell 12. Since the battery 11 is automatically charged by the solar cell 12 in fine weather capable of generating electromotive force, exchange of the battery is almost made unnecessary and since the feeder is almost kept in sufficiently charged state, the life is also prolonged.
