Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automatic field current measuring method of an automatic controller for a DC shunt motor optimally employed in the making of a rotational, speed vs field current table for allowing high response stabilized rotational speed control of the DC shunt motor.
CONSTITUTION: A predetermined armature voltage is fed to a motor 6 under no-load and the field winding 6F of the motor is subjected to supply control through an amplifying function 4 equipped with an auto-set rotational speed integrating function. Rotational speed is controlled automatically while varying the set value of rotational speed automatically at a predetermined pitch. Field current is measured automatically for each rotational speed and the field current value for each set rotational speed is recorded sequentially and automatically.
