PURPOSE: To enable a form to be positively piled up followed by a positive delivery by connecting a stopper of a stack unit combined with a transfer unit and both side panels with a common drive source through a drive transmission switch-over mechanism in an electronicphotographic copying machine and the like.
CONSTITUTION: While a solenoid valve 50 is not operated, when a drive source 41 is driven in accordance with a form size, both side panels 26 are allowed to start moving until it stops when it comes in contact with a microswitch 60 by way of a drive belt 45, gears of a swing plate 48, a pulley 54, a wire 58, a pinion 29, and racks 28 and 28. Similarly, with the solenoid valve 50 activated, a drive force of the drive source 41 is transmitted through a pulley 53 and a wire 61, then, a stopper 23 is allowed to start moving until a hole of a simultaneously rotating disc 62 is counted by a detector 64 allowing it to be stopped at a proper position. Accordingly, this configuration enables the form to be positively piled up and to be housed in, and subsequently enables the form to be forwarded onto a push-up plate 32 with the stopper 32 advanced. This permits the form to be positively fed one after another by means of a feed belt 35.
