A light emitting element 5 and a light receiving element 6 are fixed on both sides of a photographic lens 3 on the front side of a 3rd frame 9. The light emitting element 5, the photographic lens 3 and the light receiving element 6 are disposed in a straight line nearly in a horizontal direction. The light emitting element 5 and the light receiving element 6 constitute an active type range-finding unit. A tilt direction supporting shaft 11 supporting the 3rd frame 9 at a position corresponding to a centroidal position in a depth direction with respect to all the members fixed on the 3rd frame turnably in the tilt direction with respect to a 2nd frame 8 is protrusively provided from the outer peripheral side surfaces of the barrels of the light emitting element 5 and the light receiving element 6. Thus, space efficiency is made good and range-finding accuracy is made high.
