PURPOSE: To eliminate manpower and to improve the reliability, in a device for discharging fruits automatically to a selection device, by releasing a stopper energized into a state for disabling intrusion of cage through the weight of a fruit cage receiver.

CONSTITUTION: A transmission rod 2 is pulled down through rotation of a driven rod 1. Consequently, a drive rod 3 for cage receiver lifting/lowering shaft rotates to the right while a cage receiver arm 5 lifts to upper left side so as to incline a fruit cage 12 on a cage receiving face 6. As a result, fruits 13 roll down through a front weight 8, then the cage receiver arm 5 is lowered to the lowermost position by the continuously rotating driven rod 1. The cage 12 is removed during this interval. The bottom face of the cage receiving face 6 contacts with a stopper 7 which is energized continuously in projecting direction through a spring 10, then the stopper 7 is lowered through the weight of the cage receiver and a next cage 12 is moved onto the cage receiving face 6. With such arrangement, manpower can be eliminated.
