Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automatic high-rise warehouse for coil which can take and out any coil among a plurality of coils having different outside diameter and width freely and store coils by utilizing space efficiently and control method thereof.
CONSTITUTION: An automatic high-rise warehouse is provided with many horizontal suspension bars 10 which hang coils 1a, 1b, 1c in a central hole and a stacker crane 2, and the stacker crane 2 is provided with a horizontal operation arm 6 which supports the central hole for coil, turns horizontally, and moves forward and backward in the axial direction and a coil keeping bar. The warehouse is provided with a controller which controls the position of the stacker crane 2, turn of the operation arm 6, forward and backward movement, and the operation of the keeping bar.
