Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wipe off moisture adhering to hip parts without vertically moving the distal end side of an arm.SOLUTION: An automatic hip part moisture wiping device includes: a head 3 capable of holding toilet paper; an arm 4 having the head; an arm rotation drive part 21 for rotating the arm around an axial line; and an arm turn drive part 22 for turning the arm so as to allow the head to move between the neighborhood of hip parts and the outside of a toilet seat 2. The head 3 is arranged at a position decentering to one side with respect to an axial line N. The arm rotation drive part 21 holds the rotating position of the arm to thereby allow the decentering direction of the head with respect to the axial line N to be nearly horizontal when the head passes the toilet seat when viewed from above, and rotates the arm around the axial line N so as to erect the head when the head is arranged in the neighborhood of the hip parts of a user.
