Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate between a meter and a center device without being judged as an error when a starting message is transmitted to the meter from the center device while a remote display and the meter communicate with each other.
SOLUTION: When a switching switch 9 is in a state shown in the figure, the meter 1 is connected with the receiving and transmitting ports RXD2 and TXD2 of a CPU 8 through an interface 7. When the message is transmitted from the center device 2 to the meter 1 through a terminal network controller 4 while the meter 1 and the remote display 5 communicate with each other in this state, the CPU 8 receives it through an interface 6 to temporarily store. The CPU 8 makes communication with the meter 1 be finished to transmit the message to the meter 1 before time out, and switches the switching switch 9 to connect the meter 1 and the center 2 to enable both sides to communicate with each other.
