Title:
AUTOMATIC IRIS ADAPTIVE COMPACT ZOOM LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3461130
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically miniaturize a zoom lens.
SOLUTION: A front lens group 1, a variator group 2, a fixed master group 3 and a moving master group B are arranged in order, and an iris 5 is provided at a fixed position adjacent to the master group 3 between the variator group 2 and the master group 3, so that lens constitution where a light beam going toward the peripheral part of a subject image forming surface formed on an image sensor 24 provided at the poststage of the moving master B does not pass through the center of the iris 5 in a specified zoom area is obtained. Then, the zoom lens is equipped with a means for controlling the iris 5 so as not to intercept all the light beams by the iris 5 when the light beams do not pass through the center of the iris 5.
