PURPOSE: To enable the joint of shield work piping equipments automatically.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pipe materials 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 are unitized by using factening mechanisms 11a, 11b, 11c and 11d. Joint mechanisms 31a and 31b are provided to both ends of a unitized piping unit A1, and the piping unit A1 is mounted on a joint truck 53. The joint truck 53 is moved in the direction of the D, the joint mechanism 31b of a fixed unit 57 is connected to the joint mechanism 31a of the piping unit A1. When the connection is completed, a moving truck 67 is moved in the opposite direction of the D, and the joint mechanism 31b of the piping unit A1 is connected to the joint mechanism 31a of a pipe 65. With the driving of a shield machine, a hose 61 wound on a reel 63 is extended and, at the same time, a telescope type expansion mechanism of the pipe materials 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 is extended. At a stage where overall length thereof is stretched up, another piping unit is added to the piping unit A1 with the same procedure mentioned above.
