PURPOSE: To joint a rubber coated fabric automatically and promptly and contrive uniformity of the formed tire by positioning of the rubber coated fabric at the inclined and floated state and carrying under pressure and winding after contact bonding in the overlapped state with the end of the foregoing rubber coated fabfic.

CONSTITUTION: The rubber coated fabric 25 is floated by air jet from the jet hole 2 of an air table 1 and is held under push by lowering the push plate 32 and pushed back to the intermediate position B. And the end of the fabric 25 is placed and stopped on the third stopper mechanism 24, then air jet is stopped and the fabric 25 falls on the table 1. Meanwhile the rubber coated fabric piece 3 cut on the bias by the cutter 5 is dropped on the table 1 by its own weight and is floated and inclined, being positioned on the width direction, by the first stopper mechanism 9. Next, the tip of the fabric piece 3 is carried under pressure and air jet is stopped in the state of overlapping the end of the fabric 25 and the fabric piece 3, both are overlapped and jointed by contact bonding on the table 1.
