Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automatic killer device for chicken capable of cutting a carotid in a stable state of a chicken.
CONSTITUTION: In a neck opening mechanism for cutting a carotid of a neck part 1" while holding the neck part 1" of a chicken 1 by an upper and a lower rotary holding levers 2 and 3, the end part of the lower rotary holding lever 3 is made into a stationary half lever 4 turning a notch part forward, having a semicircular cross section. The notch part of the stationary half lever 4 is equipped with a cutting blade 5 in an approached state and the tip of the blade is laid in such a way that the tip of the blade can be projected to the top of the solid half lever 4 to give the objective automatic killer device for chicken.
