PURPOSE: To automate paving work, improve work efficiency save labor and improve safety by variably driving the rotational direction and speed of the drum type rotary brush comprising many needle-like bodies radially planted on the periphery of the drum.
CONSTITUTION: On the periphery of a heat resisting rotary drum 11, many needle-like bodies 12 made of material to which asphalt is hard to stick are molded or stickingly planted in a brush-like state in a body. A rotary brush driving section 20 comprises a drum side sprocket 23, motor side sprocket 22, chain 24 and drive motor 21, whose revolution and rotation direction are variable. A vertical direction adjusting section comprises a support 2, vertical direction adjusting shaft 31 and guide shaft 32. A rotary brush 10 is mounted on the rear part of the screed device 48 of an asphalt finisher and is rotated by the motor 21 to pave, form and clean the side end of the road simultaneously.
