PURPOSE: To easily judge the fault of a ROM when the ROM is faulty, and to automatically stop operation when the ROM is faulty so that a customer or a manager can be prevented from being troubled in the case that the ROM is faulty by inspecting the ROM every prescribed time or every prescribed operation.

CONSTITUTION: A control part 50 is provided with the ROM 56 to store a program and data, etc., an inspecting means to inspect the ROM 56, and an operating means to operate the inspecting means every prescribed time or every prescribed operation. This inspecting means is constituted of a storage means to store a part of the data of the ROM 56, a collating means to collate the data stored in the storage means with the data of the ROM 56, and a stopping means to stop the operation of an automatic laundry intermediating machine in the case that collation by the collating means results in non-coincidence. Then, the operating means operates the inspecting means every prescribed time or every prescribed operation. When the inspecting means is turned into an operating state, the collating means collates the data stored in the storage means with the data of the ROM 56, and in the case that the collation results in the non-coincidence, the stopping means stops the operation of the automatic laundry intermediating machine.
