Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and efficiently insert lids in both open ends of a hollow tube.
SOLUTION: An automatic lid inserting device for a hollow tube, which is installed along a carrying path of the hollow tube 3, automatically inserts the lid 11 in an open end of the hollow tube 3 while it is carried in an orientation perpendicular to the carrying direction. A lid extruding part comprises a standby part 99 opposed to the hollow tube 3 temporarily stopped in a lid inserting position, an extruding member 109 for extruding the lid stored in the standby part 99 into the hollow tube 3, and holding needles 112 as a chuck arranged on a front face of the extruding member 109. A back face of the lid 11 aligned with the hollow tube 3 in the standby part 99 is extruded from the standby part 99 while held by the holding needles 112, until it is inserted in a bore surface of the hollow tube 3.
