PURPOSE: To convey bar-shaped materials automatically without giving any damage by controlling the supply and transfer of them to a conveyer in accordance with the level of bar-shaped materials stored in a primary reservoir hopper.
CONSTITUTION: Core wires dropped from a wire-cutter are sent out by an impeller 12, and introduced into a primary reservoir hopper 13. A receiving plate 21 is at the topmost position by a cylinder 22. When the level of core wires is detected by the first approach switch LS1, the receiving plate 21 is brought down, and when the level of core wires is detected by another approach switch LS2, the receiving plate 21 is stopped from going down. Core wires are stored by these successive repetitions. When the receiving plate 21 is brought in contact with a limit switch LS3, approach switches LS1 and LS2 control a motor 24 to drive a conveyor 18 for moving and stopping a hopper 10, and consequently, the heap of core wires is broken to fill the containing space. Core wires are increased to be loaded by these repetitions.
