Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform automatic lowering of an excavating means according to excavation during an excavating work.
CONSTITUTION: An excavating device 30 is held in a state to be vertically suspended by means of a wire 12 delivered from a winch 10 and hung down from the tip of a boom 3 and a vertical shaft (a well) is excavated in a ground by means of the excavating device 30. In this case, drive of the winch 10 is controlled according to a wire tension detected by a tension detecting mechanism 60 to control lowering of the excavating device 30. Concretely, when a tension detected by the tension detecting mechanism 60 exceeds a given value, the wire 12 is delivered to lower the excavating device 30. When the tension is below a given value, drive of the winch 10 is stopped.
