To provide an automatic machine monitoring device centrally monitoring the operating state of an automatic machine such as ATM installed at each store.
This device is provided with an automatic machine managing server 11 which receives a state signal from plural automatic machines to write in a data base and transmitting a given instruction to the automatic machines, a monitoring work station 20 which reads state information on these automatic machine from the data base, displays it for monitoring the automatic machines and issues various kinds of instructions to the automatic machines, the data base 14 holding state information transmitted from the automatic machines via the server 11, a communication means such as a telephone equipment installed corresponding to each automatic machine and an exchange control server 13 which is capable of executing the state management of the telephone set corresponding to the station 20 by instructing call incoming, holding and call originating to an exchange in order to connect the telephone set installed corresponding to the station 20.
