Title:
AUTOMATIC MANUSCRIPT MOUNT BASE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6472877
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To maintain the position of a reading part to be constant and achieve feeding of a manuscript, by pneumatically transmitting the movement of a pedal to a main body of a manuscript mount base, and rotating in one direction a paper-feeding rotary shaft supporting a plurality of feeding rollers thereon.

CONSTITUTION: When air is fed under pressure from an air compressor 11 to a driver 5 by stepping on a pedal 12 to pull a string 9 rightward along arrows A, a driving rotary body 6 is rotated counterclockwise, the rotation is transmitted through a clutch spring 14 to a driven rotary body 7, and further through a rotary shaft 3 to paper-feeding rollers 4, whereby a manuscript is fed by a predetermined line space. When the pulling of the string 9 is released, the string 9 is moved leftward along the arrows A by a return spring 8, thereby rotating the rotary body 6 in the opposite direction. In this case, the clutch spring 14 is slackened, so that it does not transmit a driving force to the driven rotary body 7, and the paper-feeding rollers 4 are not rotated. Therefore, it is possible to achieve an arbitrary manuscript feeding, with the rotation of the paper-feeding rollers 4 corresponding to the amount of stepping on the pedal 12.
