PURPOSE: To detect a marked line and a liquid level with high accuracy, and to automate a measuring up operation in a state of high accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: A solvent is injected into a vessel 10 with a marked line by a dispensing part 22, and parallel laser light is projected from a laser light emitting part 12a toward the part including a marked line 10a of the vessel 10 with the marked line. Also, a laser light receiving part 12b receives the laser light transmitting through the vessel 10 with the marked line, detects the light quantity of the transmission laser light and outputs an analog light receiving signal. A sequence controller 18 controls a dispensing part 22, based on the outputted analog light receiving signal, and fills a liquid to a desired liquid surface level based on the marked line 10a.
