PURPOSE: To shorten the actuation time and to simplify the composition by using air as the motive power source, by pressing a pressing plate by a roller in clamping and by pushing up the pressing plate of a coil spring at unclamping time.
CONSTITUTION: The shaft 10 connected to a lever 17 and a link 18 are started to rotate in the direction F when the lever 17 is moved in the direction E by applying pressure on the rod side of an air cylinder 16 for fitting a metal die 14. Namely the metal die can be fitted with the metal die 14 being pressed to the metal die fitting face 24 with a strong power by moving the pressing plate 15 in the direction G with the first roller 20 being rotated from the point B of the slope face 19 of the pressing plate 15 to the point A. In case of removing the metal die 14 it returns to the original state by the reverse motion to that of the fitting time when a pressure is applied on the head side of the air cylinder 16. In case of the removal it is performed for the force removing the pressing plate 15 by utilizing the coil spring 23 buried on a plate face 22.
