Abstract:
PURPOSE: To completely automatize all processes from molten metal distribution to molten metal supply, and also, to improve the quality of a casting.
CONSTITUTION: A molten metal in a buffer furnace 1 is distributed to a holding furnace 3 by a rounder 2, a molten metal in the holding furnace 3 is supplied to a sleeve 5 of a die cast casting machine by an electromagnetic pump 4, the molten metal distribution quantity from the buffer furnace 1 to the rounder 2 is controlled so that a molten metal surface level of the rounder 2 is kept constant, and the molten metal surface of the buffer furnace 1, the rounder 2 and the holding furnace is all covered with inert gas 7.
