PURPOSE: To facilitate the retrieval of fault location of the machine and the analysis of causes of the fault by using a sensor to sense the carrying state of all paper moneys received in the machine and storing data of the carrying state to a storage section.

CONSTITUTION: Paper moneys 3 carried to a money reception pool 4 are separated one by one in a separate section 5 and carried to a recognition section 6 through an A sensor 21 and a B sensor 22. The recognition section 6 recognizes counterfeit of the paper moneys 3 and their denomination and when the paper money 3 is recognized to be a genuine paper money, the paper money 3 is carried through a C sensor 23, a D sensor 24, an E sensor 25 and collected in a 1st collection section 16. When the recognition section 6 rejects the paper money 3, the paper money 3 is carried through the C sensor 23, the D sensor 24, an F sensor 26 and collected in a 2nd collection section 17. On the other hand, when the paper money 3 passes through each sensor, each senser senses the carrying state of the paper money 3 and the data of the carrying state are stored in a storage section 33.
