Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic monitoring system capable of effectively and surely performing monitoring or observation by performing continuous or intermittent automatic monitoring or automatic observation by video images and sound and reporting to a party registered beforehand when abnormality or change is present. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an image pickup means 2 and a control means 1 for continuously or intermittently fetching video data from the image pickup means 2 as image data, detecting the relative change of the image data equivalent to the same image pickup area, and when the change is detected, performing communication to the telephone number of a contact party 10 registered beforehand through communication means 6, 7 and 9 and reporting that the change is present.
