Abstract:
PURPOSE:To kick down the automatic transmission using a centrifugal clutch, and to obstruct the kickdown by connecting a pushing and contacting member limiting the expansion of the weight of the centrifugal clutch for high speed to a throttle, etc. through an elastic body. CONSTITUTION:When the centrifugal clutch 22 for high speed is connected and the car reaches an ascent during traveling at third speed, the pushing and contacting member 23 prevents the expansion of the weight 22e while being interlocked with the opening of the throttle when a driver further opens the throttle. Accordingly, the centrifugal clutch 22 at third speed is detached, a centrifugal clutch 6 at second speed is connected, and the transmission is kicked down. However, the over-revolution and variable-speed shock of an engine are not generated because the transmission is set so that an elastic member 28 is bent at some car speed or more to absorb the force of expansion of the weight and third speed is maintained.
