Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rapidly and accurately reference a targeted shape, by confirming and referencing the targeted shape on a CRT screen visually at the time of selecting and referencing the targeted shape out of a pattern shape group registered in advance in the process of programming. CONSTITUTION:A CAM system is equipped with a CPU 6a, a CRT interface 6b, a ROM 6c, a RAM 6d, and interfaces 6e-6h for input/output, etc., and is connected to a CRT 7 and a keyboard 8, etc. And a macrofile 12 in which a schematic diagram with a defined shape is made into a mark and is registered with an on-going macroprogram, and a mouse 9 as a selection means which designates the mark and displays the targeted shape on the CRT 7 are provided. In such a way, as for the registration and the reference of a pattern shape, it is possible to select the targeted shape visually and rapidly out of registered marks with a large number of pattern shapes when the targeted shape is referenced in the process of programming it.
