To provide the automatic notice device that is accessed from a remote place via a telephone line to confirm an internal history, to revise setting of a notice destination or the like and to activate a self-diagnosis function for the confirmation of the function.

The device is provided with a control section 32 that informs a fault sensed by sensors 12, 14 in the case of sensing fault information through the sensors 12, 14 to a notice destination 25c whose telephone number is stored in advance in a memory 30 via a telephone line 24. Then the memory 30 is provided with a fault information storage area 30a that stores the fault information. In the case that the fault information is sensed, the control section 32 stores the fault information to the fault information storage area 30a as a fault information history and reads the fault information history from the fault information storage area 30a when a fault information history notice instruction is received from external telephone sets 25a-25c via the telephone line 24 and sends the fault information history to the external telephone sets 25a-25c.
