PURPOSE: To cope with any type of machine with a fuel control apparatus of either a rotary drive type or a linear drive type by optionally operating the automatic operation drive device of the fuel control apparatus for a prime mover either as the rotary type or the linear type.

CONSTITUTION: When the pulse current generated by a controller or the like is fed to a coil 10 wound on the outer periphery of a bobbin 13 in a case space via lead wires, a magnetic suction force is generated between a moving iron core 5 and a fixed iron core 11. A moving shaft 15 slidably supported by bearings 2 and 12 and integrated with the moving iron core 5 is sucked against a return spring 9. An output shaft arm 19 coupled with a linearly moving cam 3 provided on the moving shaft 15 via a bearing 17 and serving as a crank mechanism is swayed, and an output shaft 22 pivotally supported on a case main body 25 by a bearing 24 is rotated.
