Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize a feeder and to surely carry a original from a original platen by moving the original platen to a original feeding position and carrying the original from the document platen by one original pressing and carrying means.
CONSTITUTION: This feeder is provided with plural bins 37 where the different originals OL before exposure are simultaneously placed, a original feeding means consisting of paper feeding and ejecting rollers 83 and 84 for feeding the original OL from the bin 37 to an exposing position side and a carrying roller 86, a helical wheel for successively and intermittently moving the bin 37, and a pickup roller 73. In the case of feeding the original, the pickup roller 73 advances between the bins 37 and presses the document OL placed on the bin 37 to the bottom plate side of the bin 37, and it is driven to be rotated in such a state, so that the original OL is picked up in order from the uppermost one and carried to the rollers 83 and 84 side.
