Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically meet a change of the diameter of an article to be packed, and unify the overlapping of a tape width, and also, cut the length of a tape without an excess/shortage even when the size of the diameter differs in a device which houses the tape in an open ring-shape flier rotating in the ring of the annular article to be packed, and winds the tape into a spiral shape while rotating the article to be packed by a driving roller.
SOLUTION: In a flier 3 which rotates in the ring of an article A to be packed, a tape 9 is housed, and the tape 9 is wound while rotating the article to be packed by a guide roller, and at the same time, the overlapping width of the wound tape 9 is made uniform by automatically corresponding with a change of the shape of the article A to be packed, and also, a sensor S which detects a winding end detection area 12 is provided at a location being different from a winding start area 11 of the tape 9 to the annular article A to be packed, and this automatic packing device is constituted in such a manner that a tape cutter may operate after a set period of time has passed since a detection by the sensor.
