PURPOSE: To permit the high-speed operation of the piling-up process for the pallet for the bundles of corrugated-cardboard by automatically determining the optimum pattern for the bundle of corrugated-cardboard case which is loaded onto the pallet having the prescribed dimension and automatically carrying-out the work fo rthe adjustment to the optimum pattern.

CONSTITUTION: When a bundle of a corrugated-cardboard cases is carried-in, a patterning apparatus 10 arranges the bundle of corrugated-cardboard cases in the designated direction in an orientation part 12 under the control of a central processor. Then, each layer of the pallet cargo is arranged in the designated pattern in an arrangement part 13 and supplied into a palletizer 20. Each time when a layer of corrugated-cardboard cases is supplied, in the palletizer 20, under the control of the central processor, the pallet is lowered nearly by the thickness of the layer of the cases, and the palletizer 20 is prepared for the supply of the next layer. Thus, when the number of piled stages set by a piled stage quantity setting means is reached, the bundle of corrugated- carboard is taken-out from the palletizer and carried-out by a proper means. Therefore, high-speed operation of apparatus is permitted through automatic operation.
