PURPOSE: To facilitate not only the discharge of clogged paper when the clogging of paper was generated between a printing part and a discharge roller part but also the replacement of an ink ribbon, by providing a paper discharge guide for guiding the paper after printing to the discharge roller in a freely openable and closable manner.

CONSTITUTION: A rear paper discharge guide 53, a fixed paper discharge guide 54 and an opening and closing paper discharge guide 55 are attached below a drive paper discharge roller 51 and a follower paper discharge roller 52 for discharging paper after printing. That is, pin mount parts 57 having pin holes 57 are respectively provided to both end parts of the fixed paper discharge guide 54 and pin mount parts 59 having pin holes 58 are provided to the base end side of the opening and closing paper discharge guide 55. By supporting both end parts of fulcrum pins 60, 60 in the pin holes 56, 58 of the pin mount parts 57, 59 by pin stops 61, the opening and closing guide 55 is made revolvable.
