Abstract:
To provide an automatic paper feeding device and a printing preparation method capable of shortening the paper feeding work time required by the automatic paper feeding device of an offset rotary press, as compared with conventional ones.SOLUTION: An automatic paper feeding device is provided with functions comprising: allowing an automatic paper feeding belt to be returned even during printing; on the basis of a remaining printing quantity setting value, specifically, when a remaining print quantity comes to fall on or below the set value, automatically returning the paper feeding belt to a standby position, which may be a printing part exit or a paper feeding part; and after completion of printing, returning the paper feeding belt waiting at the printing part exit, to the paper feeding part; and automatically returning a turn-bar paper belt when a series of printing presets for a next edition is completed during the operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
