This automatic penetration testing machine has a stand 2, a column 3 detachably erected on this stand 2, a lifting stage 4 liftably arranged along this column 3, and capable of separating the column 3 when necessary, a chuck unit 6 constituted so as to be attachable-detachable to this lifting stage 4, and to be capable of holding a penetration rod 5, and a lifting unit 7 for operating lifting of the lifting stage 4. The lifting unit 7 is constituted by unitizing a lifting rotational driving means 22, and a sprocket 21 rotatable by receiving driving of this lifting rotational driving means 22, and rotatable by engaging with a chain member 3a arranged on the column 3; and is detachably installed on the lifting stage 4.
