Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and safely conduct a plate replacing and loading operation and completely eliminate a possibility of a breakage of a printing press by a method wherein a plate cylinder is brought to a stop at a plate unloading/loading position in a predetermined procedure based on a count output in accordance with a rotation angle of the plate cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: In an automatic blanket cleaning, a paper feeder is brought to a stop under control, an absence of a sheet in a printing press is detected in accordance with a detection signal SD of a stabilizer, a shell plate state is made by controlling a plunger DO, a main motor M is rotated at a low speed, and a blanket is cleaned by a cleaner BM. Next, in a plate replacing, a plate cylinder 1 is brought to a stop at a plate unloading position by controlling the motor M, a vice is loosened, a plate is unloaded by reversely rotating the motor M by a switch operation, the plate cylinder 1 is brought to a stop at a top gripping position, a top of a plate is gripped and fastened, the plate cylinder 1 is rotated forward by a switch operation to wind the plate thereon, the plate cylinder 1 is brought to a stop at an end gripping position, and an end of the plate is gripped and fastened. In a multicolor printing press, this plate replacing operation is repeatedly completed by a switch operation for all devices per color.
