Title:
AUTOMATIC PLAYING PIANO
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2779097
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the automatic playing piano capable of accurately reproducing the key release operation for performance.
CONSTITUTION: When a brake signal whose application period Ta and magnitude La are fixed is intermittently applied to a solenoid after the stop of a holding signal, application stop periods t1 to tn of the brake signal are shortened with the elapse of time in accordance with formula t1>t2...>tn-1>tn. Thus, the energy of the brake signal applied to the solenoid in accordance with the off velocity is gradually increased, and therefore, an influence of the driving force characteristic of the solenoid is reduced which ever position the plunger of the solenoid is placed in, and performance is faithfully re-produced based on the instruction of key release information of staccato, legato, or the like.
